blank strip on left side of picture, or mirror may be hanging up

1. If using flash, make sure shutter speed is set at 60 or lower.

2. Like all slr cameras 5 or more years old, the shutter bearings may be dry and in need of lubrication. Our overhaul always includes this.

meter not working

1. Older models have a plastic screw holding battery contact. This can break causing erratic contact with the battery.

2. Wiring to battery contact may be corroded and broken.

3. Ground screw to meter movement may be loose.

The foam in back may be breaking down and therefore should be replaced.
